Description

There were questions regarding how the EPIC A1 works, and here is an explaination. Please keep in mind that the EPIC A1 is not a real weapons, this is somewhere between the technical illustration of the Enterprise and a real gun.

Really wish it was real.

Twin magazines in the rear and a Drum magazine in the middle. First one is in the rear fires standard 5.56 NATO rounds, with minimum blow-back. As it's leaving it's speed is magnetically enhanced by Toroid magnets as they are leaving the barrel. They are timed to ensure that the slug will leave the barrel faster.

And finally you have your short-range 30 mm Grenade Launcher. In no way are they affected by the magnetic enhancement, and the barrel is underside of the bullet trajectory.

If this was real, then the one whose holding this, will have no issue firing two projectiles at the same time.
